Good evening. I'm Lune and I like to tell stories.
I thought it might make more sense if I explained this one in advance, instead of at the end. As mentioned, this one is based on Wicked. I was obsessed with the musical in the early oughts and read the book a few years later. This piece was inspired by one of the themes in the book that's not emphasized in the musical. Still, it fell out of my head as a song from a musical. This one is called:
“Forgiveness”
I'm green with envy
But I'm feeling blue
Found loathing aplenty

For things that I had never done

I stood to shake the world around me
